My name is Kelley, and I am the founder of PAWfect Pet Services,
LLC. I am a full time Professional Pet Sitter. I was born and raised in the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro
Area and I graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2002. I focused
my studies on people and animals, including; Animal Assisted Therapies, Animals Roles in Society and conducted an Independent
Research Project on our local Animal Shelters.
After graduating I pursued a job in the social work field working with children and families, then moved into the public
education field with the local Area Agency on Aging working with seniors.All the while dreaming of how I could put my
love for animals and their humans into the forefront in my life.
While continuing to volunteer for animal welfare causes and
keeping my love of animals close to my heart. In 2004 I founded a non-profit called Midwest Animal Welfare Society,
www.midwestaws.org focusing on humane education and partnered with the Pottawattamie County Animal Shelter
http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/pottcountypets.html for two years, organizing their volunteer program, offsite adoption and marketing
events. Continuing to network with local animal rescues and resource centers, I
finally pursued a job as a Marketing Director at a local Assisted Living Community before realizing my ability to start
my own business helping people and their animals.
Today I am so lucky to have a full time Pet Sitting Career, and a small but dedicated staff of
Pet Care Specialists to help share my love and passion of Pet Sitting with you. It is a gift to be able to

animals as we treat our own, and operate under a philosophy of treating our clients as we would want to be treated.
Most importantly this is not just a job for us....this is our life!
